Our Story
Ground Control Services started the way a lot of good things do, with a kid who wasn't afraid to work. Owner Marshall Dickson grew up mowing lawns and shoveling snow in the neighborhood, learning early that hard work pays off and that there's real satisfaction in a job well done.
In 2020, that hustle turned into a real business. Ground Control Services launched with a focus on lawn care: weekly mowing, cleanups, and making yards look their best. Word spread. The work was quality. The schedule was consistent. Customers stuck around.
As demand grew, so did the services. Landscaping, mulch work, bed edging, and property refreshes were added to the lineup. Then came grading and dirt work, solving drainage problems, leveling yards, and prepping sites.
In 2024, a skid steer was added to the fleet, opening up even bigger projects like site preparation, major grading work, and full property transformations. What started as a mower and a work ethic has become a full-service operation serving Adel, Waukee, and communities across West Dallas County.
Ground Control Services is still driven by the same values it started with: show up, work hard, do the job right, and leave every property better than you found it. No shortcuts. No excuses.
